¿Un record de Guinnes?
Yo creo que sí. Verán. Esta noche el Círculo de las Artes impone la Insignia de Oro de la sociedad a una serie de socios entre los que me encuentro. La circunstancia me llevó a requerir datos sobre el socio más antiguo. Y me he llevado la misma sorpresa que seguramente se llevarán ustedes al saber(la fuente son los archivos de la sociedad) que se trata de don Luís Reguera Balsa, nacido en 1.906(tiene por lo tanto 102 años) y que se dio de alta como socio en 1.924, cuando tenía 18 años; lleva por lo tanto vinculado el Círculo nada menos que 84 años. No creo que haya en las diferentes sociedades y clubes de España, e incluso del mundo, muchos casos como este.
Hoy por la tarde participo como entrevistador en la revista oral “Ronda”, que Alfredo Sánchez Carro y Julio Giz, vienen editando desde hace varios años dentro de la programación de actividades de la Asociación de Amigos de la Muralla. Una pregunta, ¿por qué las discrepancias entre este colectivo y el gobierno municipal?. Hasta en cosas en las que por bien de Lugo debemos estar unidos, anda cada uno por su lado.
La tv se ocupa de la detención del pederasta y presunto asesino de la niña Mari Luz. Su mujer parece que también está complicada. Hay una frase terrible de la hermana sobre la pareja:”eran los más violadores de mi casa”.
Gabriela Fole me reprocha que no haya ido a la inauguración de su muestra de pintura. Presenté hace unos meses un libro que le editó Lorenzo García Diego, su marchante, que el otro día me dijo que la obra de Gabriela se vendía muy bien. La exposición, en principio, abierta hasta el día primero de abril en la Sala Almirante. Digo en principio porque Gabriela me advirtió:”si vendo todo antes, cierro antes”.
Dan en la radio un reportaje realizado en la Feria del Empleo que se celebró en Madrid y los testimonios ponen los pelos como escarpias. Los mileuristas son mayoría y se oyen historias como la de una abogada que gana poco más de 800 euros y que allí mismo, en la feria, se interesa por una oferta para trabajar en una pizzería. España, cuarta potencia económica europea, ocupa el lugar decimocuarto en lo que se refiere a los sueldos.
