¡Uf!
Creí, ingenuo, que la entrega de los Goya me podía animar un domingo de carnaval que no pasará a la historia. La climatología se encargó de chafar cualquier proyecto especial de diversión. En resumen, que sólo me moví de casa para comprar la prensa y dar dos breves paseos de mañana y tarde con Bonifacio al que tuve que sacar a la fuerza de su lugar de acomodo para que se orease un poco.
Aunque me acosté después de las siete de la mañana, un poco después de las nueve ya estaba despierto y hablando con Pablo Núñez que me llamó por teléfono y que ha vuelto a ser padre estos días. Hoy iré a conocer al rorro.
Hay que destacar el espíritu carnavalero(¿se puede decir así?) de los componentes de la Asociación de Ex Alumnos de Artes Aplicadas. Este fin de semana han celebrado su tradicional fiesta de disfraces en el Gran Hotel. Ya de madrugada estuve con Jesús Cao y su esposa Marisol. Fueron hace un cuarto de siglo de los grandes animadores del entroido local. Cao lucía un espectacular frac de casaca amarilla y pantalones negros. El que tuvo, retuvo.
Hay un par de muy conocidas jóvenes señoras, de muy buen ver, con esposos muy conocidos e importantes, que estos días dejan a sus parejas en casa y, disfrazadas muy bien por cierto, se divierten por su cuenta.
Como ya es habitual, salvo en actos oficiales, no veo a ningún político participando de estas fiestas.¡Aburridos!
En un local público un joven liga con un travestí. Incluso como hombre podría jugar de pívot en el Breogan. Imagínense como luciría de mujer.
Tal día como hoy, lunes de carnaval, en los años 80, lo mejor de lo mejor era el baile de disfraces de Iguazú. Me acuerdo todavía de la que armó en uno de ellos el entonces gobernador civil de Lugo, José Manuel Mateo Luaces, que le había cogido gusto a lo de los disfraces y se pasó toda la noche de incógnito. Era una persona muy divertida, que solía pasear por Lugo con una motocicleta de gran cilindrada. Falleció hace relativamente poco en Madrid.
Ni Corbacho, que en su anterior experiencia como presentador de los Goya estuvo muy bien, consiguió animar la edición de este año. No se si influiría que nada más comenzar tuvo un lapso y llamó Belén Esteban a Belén Rueda. A la protagonista de “El Orfanato”, no le hizo ninguna gracia. Puso una cara… Todo lo contrario que la de Maribel Verdú la más espontánea y brillante. La mayoría de los otros premiados, lo mismo que los invitados para entregar galardones estuvieron de un soso…
Si el tiempo ayuda, que mejorará un poco, la noche de hoy lunes está llamada a ser la más movida de estos festejos. Ya les contaré.
