J.L. Otero, “detuvo” al ladrón
La escena le dieron y repitieron las cadenas de televisión durante la tarde del lunes: un hombre de 34 años que escapaba tras apropiarse de lo ajeno en el parque madrileño de El Retiro, quedó ensartado en la punta de lanza de una de las verjas que cierran el recinto, verja que por cierto fue fabricada e instalada por la empresa lucense Fundiciones Pardo, que regenta José Luís Otero.
Recibo el opúsculo “Políticos do Instituto Lucus Augusti”, del que es autor el profesor Manuel Celso Matalobos. Más de un centenar de alumnos y profesores de este centro, que va camino de los 200 años de historia, figuran en la publicación con fotografía y un breve currículo. En la portada, entre otros, Cacharro, Pepe Blanco, Barreiro, Antón Bao, Besteiro y Orozco.
Por estos y otros muchos(Fraga, Rosón, Victorino Núñez, Calvo Sotelo…) el centro se revela como una buena y variada cantera.
De esta publicación editada por la Xunta de Galicia, hablamos hace unas semanas para contarles que algunos aspectos de ella no eran del gusto de los editores; por ejemplo no querían que en la contraportada figurase una fotografía, muy bonita por cierto, en la que en el gran lucernario que da luz cenital al hall del edificio aparece el escudo preconstitucional. Decíamos entonces que la Xunta quería además retirarlo, pero que el elevado coste de la operación la retrasa de momento. Al margen de todo esto, casi anecdótico, el librito es agradable y tiene un innegable valor documental.
Anuncio que desde hace semanas emiten medios audiovisuales: “Atención , mensaje de Puleva para las miles de personas…”. No es un error mío; el anuncio dice para “las miles de personas”.
Al nuevo Obispo la vieron ayer en el Hospital Xeral acompañando a una amiga extranjera que había venido a su toma de posesión y que se sintió indispuesta. También visitó “La Voz de la Verdad”, que desde hace muchos años pertenece al obispado.
Monseñor Carrasco, reside por ahora en el Seminario. Le he mandado dos ejemplares de “Lucenses I” y “Lucenses II” y le he invitado a al programa de entrevistas de TeleLugo. Espero que venga la próxima semana.
Conchita mejor, pero demora su regreso a Lugo por precaución.

What I wouldnt give to learn how you got your design to be so brilliant! I mean it. Besides the site just being awesome, this page is too sweet! Its not too flashy. It doesnt do too much with colours and things and the videos you use are perfect for this topic! Really, brilliant website.

I assumed I’d assist you to recognise that for some reason why this weblog does no longer view well in Internet Explorer 8. I wish Microsoft would stop converting their software.
