De lunes a martes (2)
LUNES de Carnaval. La ausencia de actividad en los centros docentes facilitó la presencia de mucha gente joven en las calles tanto durante la mañana como, de forma especial, por la tarde; y también de lucenses en general que dieron, al centro obre todo un ambiente especial.
Los que estábamos en los cantones al mediodía nos vimos sorprendidos por un desfile singular protagonizado por un grupo de chicos y chicas vestidos de romanos que hacían promoción de la candidatura de Anxo Quintana al grito de “¡Quintana somos todos!”. Si no fuera por lo serios que desfilaban y por la coincidencia de los mensajes que lanzaba a la gente el que mandaba la “legión” con los de la propaganda del Bloque hubiese pensado que estaban de broma. El ejército de Pancho Villa iba mejor vestido: los trajes de romanos no los hubiesen querido vender ni los chinos del Todo a 100; y como la temperatura no era buena habían dejado por debajo de la vestimenta romana la ropa normal (camisetas, sudaderas, jerseys) que se veían perfectamente y que definitivamente convertía el conjunto en lo que un “castizo” hubiese llamado “tropa do carallo”. Cerca del grupo una joven me entregó una careta de Anxo Quintana y una camiseta con la leyenda “cando se trata de defender este país…Eu son Anxo Quintana”.
Por la tarde, en Ramón Ferreiro, me encontré a la plana mayor del BNG encabezada por el conselleiro Fernando Blanco y, ¡sorpresa!, cuando les comenté lo ocurrido por la mañana con los romanos de pacotilla, nadie sabía nada de eso, aunque sí les habían llegado comentarios, negativos, del espectáculo. Estuvieron especulando sobre quien había promovido aquella astracanada y hasta alguno llegó a pensar si no sería algún rival político. No me extrañaría.
ESTUVE por el centro hasta las primeras horas de la noche y pude ver como la gente bailaba ante la fachada de la Casa Consistorial, al ritmo de una orquesta que creo se llamaba “Noche de estrellas”. Había bastante gente disfrazada, sobre todo niños, mientras que en la zona de vinos no había un alma. Menos animación imposible.
¿SE han vuelto locos?. El ministro Solbes dice en público que envidia Bermejo porque se ha ido. O sea, que a él le gustaría irse, pero se ve que no le dejan. ¡En que manos está el pandero!
SEGUÍ casi toda la Gala de los Oscar y disfruté especialmente con el presentador Hugh Jackman que me asombró por su versatilidad. Cantó, bailó, habló y todo lo hizo bien.
Canal + hizo un excelente programa que además nos permitió comprobar la naturalidad y asequibilidad de los actores americanos, las grandes estrellas que atendieron amables y sonrientes siempre a la entrevistadora española. ¡Que distintos a la estrellitas españolas de medio pelo!
DE lo que vea e interese de la madrugada del lunes al martes les contaré cuando regrese de echar una ojeada. Observen que el titular de hoy lleva el número 2. Lo mantendré, pero de madrugada colgaré el 1 con lo último.

2, 1, a ver cuando bajamos al cero y completamos la cuesta abajo de esta cruenta curva que ojalá fuera solo de Gaus .
Porque entre que unos van a la caza de guanaminos y otras se montan en el transiberiano, para luego justificar su eterna película del “volver a empezaaaar”, nadie manda parar para ver como va el pasaje y repostar algo en la estación de siempre bien bajando un rato para desperazarse o bien comprando algo a las vendedoras de andén que se suben a los vagones .
¡Que bonito era el tren con una o más máquinas en el esfuerzo de tirar de todos los vagones hacia una dirección determinada ¡ .

Good article and a pleasant summation of the problem. My only problem with the analysis is given that much of the population joined the chorus of deregulatory mythology, given vested interest is inclined toward perpetuation of the current system and given a lack of a popular cheerleader for your arguments, I’m not seeing much in the way of change.
