Urgencias
De todas las Obras de Misericordia, lo que peor llevo es lo de visitar a los enfermos, especialmente si están internados en un hospital o similares. Estos centros asistenciales no me gusta verlos ni en fotografía. Así que imagínense lo que siento cuando soy yo el más o menos enfermo. Afortunadamente, de momento, Dios me ha dado una estupenda salud o, como decía Cesar González Ruano, “una delicada salud de hierro”. En los 40 años que llevo ligado a la COPE, nunca he faltado al trabajo por enfermedad. Pero eso no quiere decir que no tenga algunos sustos. Uno de ellos me llevó a Urgencias en la mañana del sábado, luego de haber pasado una noche de perros. La culpa la tuvo una salpicadura de barro que me entró en el ojo izquierdo el jueves y cuyas molestias se incrementaron a medida que pasaban las horas. En resumen que tengo una pequeña herida en el globo ocular, que tengo que tenerlo tapado hasta el lunes y que no se pueden dar una idea de las dificultades visuales que se plantean y la perdida de perspectiva para hacer cualquier cosa. Y de conducir, nada.
En el Xeral me atendieron estupendamente, pero tuvieron problemas con el esparadrapo. No había del que necesitaban.
El libro “Daniel Hortas, la radio en el corazón” se presentará el día 28 del presente mes de enero, a las ocho de la tarde, en Caixa Galicia. La crónica sentimental de un periodista lucense, que ha sido editada por la Diputación Provincial, recoge testimonios de algunos de sus amigos y compañeros, entre los que hay grandes figuras de la comunicación española. El volumen se complementa con un CD de momentos históricos de la vida profesional de Daniel, una de las estrellas de la radio local en los años 50 y 60, fallecido a principios del nuevo siglo.
El periodista lucense afincado en Vigo Fernando Ramos, ha sido el de la idea y el que coordino a todos los que colaboramos en ella.
Mi amigo Rolando Saad, uno de los mejores interpretes actuales de guitarra clásica, manda un correo electrónico para decirme que hace unas semanas, en Londres, ha grabado una nueva versión del
“Concierto de Aranjuez”, acompañado, nada menos, por la Royal Philarmonic Orchestra.
El proyecto venía de 1.993, pero problemas de agenda primero y un grave accidente de automóvil, cuyas secuelas todavía arrastra después, impidieron llevarlo a cabo. Rolando ha hecho con esta obra 700 conciertos, los últimos en el Liceo de Barcelona y en el Teatro Real de Madrid. Dentro de unos días volverá con la obra de Joaquín Rodrígo al Liceo y al Palau de la Música.
¿Podrá escucharse en directo en Lugo?. Puede que sí. En eso andamos.
Por culpa de los del ojo no he podido leer en todo el día y esto lo he escrito casi “al tacto”. Así habrá salido. ¡Y lo que falta hasta la mañana del lunes!

Strange this publish is totaly unrelated to what I was looking out google for, however it was indexed at the first page. I guess your doing something right if Google likes you adequate to place you on the first page of a non similar search.
