Empresarios
Son las dos y cuarto de la madrugada del martes. Vengo de dar un largo paseo con mi amigo y vecino Jorge y con mi perro y okupa Bonifacio. Hace una noche preciosa de luna llena y estrellas por todas partes. Ocho grados. Hemos estado en la fiesta de los empresarios(Bonifacio, no). Un acto muy bonito al que no faltó casi nadie. Bueno, sí, estaban, por ejemplo, los dos conselleiros de Lugo(Ricardo Varela y Fernando Blanco) y no estaba la conselleira de Lugo, la de Educación, a la que nunca he visto en un acto de aquí, lo cual no quiere decir que no haya asistido. Por supuesto el Presidente de la Xunta y todas las primeras autoridades locales y provinciales. Antes se decía “primeras autoridades civiles, militares y eclesiásticas”. Muchos discursos, entrega de galardones, etc. que se “despacharon” con bastante diligencia y luego una cena muy agradable. El Sr. Touriño, emulando a su antecesor se fue poco después de las doce, pero la sobremesa siguió un rato más. Cuando salimos a la Plaza de España no había nadie, pero al decir nadie quiero decir nadie, ni una sola persona. Pero estaba muy bonita. En mi muy ortodoxa intervención como presentador, nada parecido a lo que hago casi por norma, destaqué brevemente un hecho que hace 30 años, cuando se fundó la CEL, no se podía producir: la presencia de mujeres empresarias y directivas de empresa, que sí habían acudido a la fiesta del lunes. Ahora a esperar 20 años para celebrar las Bodas de Oro. Y ustedes y yo que lo veamos.
Charlé unos minutos con Julio Beberide, propietario de Radio Lugo y de otras emisoras en nuestra provincia y de las que es directora su hija Olga. También con su esposa Mari Carmen. Hablamos de la presentación, el próximo lunes, del libro sobre Daniel Hortas, que fue una de las estrellas de la radio local en su etapa en la emisora de la SER. A los oyentes de los años 50 y 60 les va a gustar especialmente el acto y el libro. Es en Caixa Galicia a las ocho de la tarde.
Me mandan un correo para pedirme que mañana miércoles de 19,55 a 20,00 horas apague todas las luces de mi casa. No se que experimento quieren hacer, pero la intención parece buena. Así que colaboraré.
También me llega otro(y no es el primero) de Ivonne Andrea Palta, que según dice quiere ser mi amiga.
Y ahora, tres menos veinte de la madrugada, voy a comerme unas naranjas. ¡Si no hubiera que pelarlas…!

Sr. Rivera Cela, vostede non ten remedio… que pouco aprendeu de Monseñor Amigo… que pouco aprecia a nosa cultura (o idioma e parte importante dela), na presentación se o fixese en galego, seguro que o entenderían todos/as e ademais sería máis respectado, por os de aquí e os de acolá… parece mentira que sexa lugués o polo menos de vivir durante moito tempo en Lugo. Vostede xa non ten amaño!. Saúdos.
