Una de romanos
Hablo con Pablo Núñez. Su novela “Las hijas del Cesar”, uno de los 10 finalistas del Planeta 2.006(téngase en cuenta que se presentaron más de 500 originales), se pone a la venta el 15 de este mes con versiones en castellano, gallego y catalán. Tiene un programa de presentaciones muy apretado y puede ser el libro estrella de la Feria que se celebra en Lugo coincidiendo con el “Día das Letras Galegas” en cuyo programa seguro que figura alguna firma. Pero la presentación será más adelante. Le sugiero que lo deje para junio y lo haga coincidir con el “Arde Lucus”. ¿Se imaginan el Salón Regio del Círculo lleno de “romanos” en la presentación de un libro sobre Roma?.
Ayer hizo diez años que murió Antonio Herrero, el inventor de la radio beligerante, el comunicador que desde Antena 3 Radio primero y más tarde desde la COPE, entre las 6 y las 10 de la mañana, daba estopa a diestro y a siniestro. Me preguntan que diferencia encuentro entre él y Federico Jiménez Losantos y respondo que pocas en el fondo y bastantes en la forma, aunque Herrero tiene a su favor que fue el primero en incordiar a los políticos en una época en la que otros comunicadores pasteleaban y ponían velas a dios y al diablo. Fíjense en un hecho concreto: los socialistas, los comunistas y los nacionalistas no podían ver a Antonio ni en pintura y José María Aznar, el día antes de la muerte del periodista, celebró una reunión en La Moncloa con gente de la COPE para pedir su cabeza.. Pasó con él algo muy parecido a lo que pasa ahora con Losantos(¿se han dado cuenta de cómo le atiza últimamente a Rajoy?), que supera a Herrero en habilidad dialéctica y en sentido del humor y de la ironía. Losantos es intelectualmente mejor, pero Herrero creó un estilo que llegó muy bien a la gente, aunque pocos se atreven a seguirlo.
En la “final a cuatro” de Madrid dos jugadores que estuvieron en el Breogán del descenso: Marco Carraretto, que defendió los colores del Montepaschi de Siena y Mickeal que está en el Tau. A ninguno de los equipos de los dos ex breoganistas les fueron bien las cosas en la final europea y los dos perdieron.

Última hora relacionada con el C.D. Lugo: ya saben que sigue Bouso en la presidencia, pero lo bueno es que parece que continúan todos los demás que estaban con él a pesar de que alguno, hace poco más de 24 horas decía que “ni de broma”.
